There are some Optimus updates coming this week, some new features, improved design and changes to make it more user friendly.

IMPROVED CATEGORY SELECTION

There are various updates to make adding or editing categories easier and to save you time.

  • Opening categories is now faster
  • You can see the case whilst adding a category, so you don’t need to remember all of the case details
  • Bread crumbs at the bottom show you the category details
  • View the category group easily when you’re in a case
  • Remove category by simply clicking on x
  • When new categories are added to your category system you can use them straight away, instead of waiting up to 24 hours.

NEW USER FRIENDLY DESIGN

  • New side bar – you can open or close it
  • If open, the side bar remains fixed while scrolling case history
  • Improved responsive design so you can use on any desktop or tablet
  • More prominent search box
  • System generated emails are now styled differently than user messages for improved readability

IMPROVED CASE MANAGEMENTOptimus case management

  • More user-friendly design
  • Save or Save and Exit buttons (more accurate names than before)
  • Case title is now at the top 
  • The number of cases a customer has is now on the left-hand-side

There are some new items in the left-hand menu:

  • Used to be ‘Tab Management’
  • To edit click on tab name


Account

  • You can set or edit your notifications

LAST COMMUNICATION 

You can now see and sort by the last case communication, not just last activity. Tabs can also be created based on last communication criteria and you can include it in reports.

The ‘others viewing this case’ count bug is has now been fixed and is now accurate.
