On Friday, 27 September 2019, we hosted our very own Coffee Morning to raise dough-nations for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Macmillan Cancer Support is a UK-based charity which provides physical, emotional, and financial support to help people with cancer live their lives as fully as they can.
Everyone at Avius channelled their inner baker. Our kitchen table was filled with mouth-watering goods, such as:
- Pineapple Upside-Down Cake
- Victoria Sponge
- Millionaire’s Shortbread
- Chocolate and Caramel Cake
- Guinness Cake
- White Chocolate and Orange Cookies
- Rocky Road
- Brownies
With so many amazing bakes in the office, it was hard to fight off the urge to come back for seconds, even thirds. Some of us definitely had a sugar rush!
Our Macmillan Coffee Morning was a great success. We’re happy to announce that we raised and donated £220 for the charity.
Thank you to all who came along and supported such a great cause.
Perhaps we should consider another walking challenge to burn some calories…?
