SURVEY PRIVACY NOTICES
With the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) fast approaching, we’ve been working hard to ensure Avius products help your organisation be compliant with GDPR.
You can now include a Privacy Notice on any question in Avius Surveys. If you collect customer information in any question, you’ll need to include a Privacy Notice.
Examples of how this will appear in the survey:

If you use Avius Surveys and haven’t already, for each of your surveys please provide us with the following:
- Which question you’d like to add a Privacy Notice
- Wording for the Short Text on the question (How we use your personal data…)
- The Privacy Notice content for that question
- If you have a multi-lingual survey, please provide the Privacy Notice in every relevant language
WHAT IS GDPR?
If you’re not based in Europe you may not have heard of GDPR but it could still apply to your business.
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a new legislation in EU law regarding data protection and privacy and comes into force on 25th May 2018. The aim is to protect the privacy of all EU citizens.
It applies to all companies processing the personal data of people residing in the European Union, regardless of where the company is located.
